In many countries in Africa and Latin America, chocolate is bitter for the thousands of children who, at school age and playing age, have to work every day in full sun and in precarious conditions on cocoa plantations.

The cocoa obtained in this way is bought for the most part by the large multinationals that manufacture chocolates of medium and low quality.

Fairtrade cocoa cultivation offers farmers the opportunity of a fair wage in exchange for quality cocoa and the guarantee that child labor is not used and that people and the environment are respected.

They are small farms (in many cases, cooperatives) where the process of obtaining cacao is taken care of a lot and where the workers obtain an economic benefit that allows them to lead a decent life.

This cocoa is also grown under ecological criteria, so that a high quality raw material is obtained.

Consuming Fair Trade products is not only good for you, it is also good for the people who grow them and for the health of the planet.
